LongShot Golf Shipping Policies
In addition to offering factory direct pricing on our full line of LongShot Impact Recorders, we pledge to hold shipping costs as low as possible. We use the U.S. Postal delivery service for all lightweight, military, overseas, Canadian and P.O. Box shipments. For all larger domestic and expedited service items we use UPS. We do not mark up freight costs or add handling fees to offset low prices; ours is a true low price web site.

Please note that due to recent increases in freight costs we can no longer guarantee which method of shipment will be used. Those who wish to specify a particular shipper or use P.O. Boxes for delivery may face some additional fees. Charges shown during checkout and by the shipping cost estimator are best estimates and may need to be adjusted for over sized packages, rural deliveries or special handling. An email will be sent for approval if additional charges are required for delivery. Exchanges of non-defective merchandise are subject to re-shipment charges. Be sure to inspect all items received for damage and notify the carrier immediately if a damage claim is required. Note: expedited shipping is available upon request and on a quote basis.
Provisions for International/Export Orders and Shipping.
Effective immediately: Due to recent changes made by the 27 EU countries requiring sellers to estimate, collect and remit VAT taxes plus the cost/labor involved to do so, we will no longer be offering retail order shipping to those countries.
Our new site does not support automated International/Export ordering and shipping. Over the years we have tried to make an automated freight estimator system work and it has never gone well. There is no way to guarantee that we are only charging our cost for shipping using third party estimates. This site is setup to accept export orders but only for informational purposes. It will indicate the sale at the U.S. default freight cost, but will need to be reviewed. Your order will be packed to insure the lowest cost possible and you will be sent a freight estimate. If you choose to proceed, we will invoice you for the freight amount. If you choose to decline, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

Warranty and Return Policy
Your satisfaction is assured with the purchase of any LongShot product. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with one of our products, simply return it (undamaged and unused within 30 days) for replacement or a purchase price refund. Email sales@longshotgolf.com to request a return, so that we will expect the item and process your transaction quickly. Please make sure that you insure your item with the shipper for your own protection. If you have a reason for the return that could help us make improvements in the product, we would welcome the input.
Obviously, if you have a defective product you should return it to us with all original packaging within the warranty period. Most products are covered for defects in workmanship for one year (as specified by the actual manufacturer of the product) unless otherwise noted. If you have questions as to the length of a products warranty please contact us for clarification.
This guarantee will not be valid if the item is damaged through any action of your own or through some other form of neglect. We also cannot be responsible for any damage that occurs as a result of actions by the shipper; you should inspect all packages upon arrival and report any damage to the shipping company immediately. Our warranty (or the warranties of those who make products for us) does not extend to the subsequent damage to other items as a result of a defect in a product. Exchanges of undamaged products may result in additional charges for return freight.

Privacy and Security
When it comes to the web and your privacy there appears to be two types of sites, those whose primary concern is maximum traffic and those who are promoting their product or service. We are definitely in the second group; we want your business, not your name. Our focus has never been and will never be selling access to our customer's information.
I thought about having our attorneys write a very legal sounding (and probably complicated) web privacy policy. I decided instead to make some very clear statements on the subject myself.
LongShot will protect your privacy and information to the extent possible with the latest technology available to us. No information collected will be sold, rented, leased, loaned or traded to any third party.
LongShot is asking up front for permission to send you e-mails concerning special offers and notification of new LongShot products. These will only come from us and only when something truly noteworthy is happening. If you ever receive an e-mail from us that is unwelcome, simply click on the remove-me link or hit the reply button and say ... TAKE ME OFF THE LIST ... you have my pledge that it will be done.
